About us: Phalanx Security Consultants is a family/veteran owned small business. Our founder, John Gannaio, proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. After being honorably discharged, he became a Law Enforcement Officer and worked with various units such as emergency services/SWAT, crime prevention, and organized crime. John received numerous commendations and was inducted into the Legion of Honor by the American Police Hall of Fame, Titusville, Florida in 2014. He holds a BA in American Studies and numerous certifications in specific law enforcement and security disciplines. After his retirement, John offered his professional security consulting services to non-profit organizations throughout the United States. He has also served in the state court system in various capacities. Jennifer Gannaio, holds a BA in Criminal Justice, Master of Arts in Human Services, Marriage and Family, Master of Arts in Education and a Education Doctorate in Education, Curriculum and Instruction. All which is invaluable in heading our training and consulting departments. John and his wife, Jennifer Gannaio, opened Phalanx Store in late 2014 to help meet the safety and security needs of individuals, families, and businesses around the world.
